Mr. Gururaja Poojary has been able to bag a bronze medal at the CWG in the men's 62 kg category, a total of 269 kgs. This is India's second medal after the silver medal won by Sanket. Gururaja has previously won a silver medal in weightlifting in 2018. This is an excellent start for the country. India has always been a strong contender at the Commonwealth Games.
