India's biggest ever auction of airwaves concluded on Monday after seven days and over 38 rounds, with spectrum worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore being sold. 5G services will be rolled out by October for Consumers in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune and towns such as Jamnagar are likely to be among the first to be able to access 5G services, as early as in October, as telecom operators begin the initial phase of rolling out services on the next-gen network.
