Their ED Custody of 14 days came to an end on Thursday. They were each questioned by ED officials individually. ED officials are curious about the origin of the enormous sum of money found in Arpita's apartments in Diamond City and Belgharia. Despite Partha's refusal to answer questions on Wednesday, Arpita claimed during cross-examination that Partha and a few of his close friends were complicit in the recruitment fraud. Partha Chatterjee is currently in trouble as he pushes his bail plea; his attorneys assert that the disgraced minister is seriously ill even though the ED claims that the illness is being staged.
