The ban by FIFA on the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) came as a big shock. FIFA cited 3rd Party interference which was against FIFA’s norms. This ban also meant that India had lost its right to host the Under-17 Women's World Cup. As per sources, India was set to host the Under-17 Women's World Cup in October before the ban was announced.
On Monday, the Supreme Court ordered the dissolution of the Committee of Administrators (CoA). It is now expected that FIFA will revoke the suspension of AIFF, and the Under-17 Women's World Cup will be held in India.
