2:58Now PlayingKerala Sexual Harassment Case: In a case involving alleged sexual harassment, the activist Civic Chandran was granted anticipatory bail by the Kozhikode district sessions court on Wednesday. However, the Kerala High Court on Thursday blocked the judgment. While staying the release of Chandran on bail, the High Court panel presided over by Justice Kauser Edappagath stated that Chandran has been temporarily released from custody and that the order was "irregular" at first glance and that "irrelevant materials (were) considered" to give bail. A day after the Kerala government filed an appeal challenging the ruling of Kozhikode District and Sessions Judge S Krishna Kumar, the stay was issued.
