The chief minister stated in a letter to the MLAs from the Assembly secretariat that he would be happy to introduce a resolution of confidence to demonstrate his majority. The Election Commission (EC) issued its judgment to Governor Ramesh Bais on August 25 in response to a plea from the BJP asking for Soren's exclusion from the Assembly in a matter involving an office of profit, resulting in a political crisis in the state.
