YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA heavy rainstorm lashed Pune. The nearly one-and-a-half-hour heavy rain was enough to cripple the city, causing infrastructure collapse, traffic gridlocks, submerged vehicles, power outages, and inundated houses. The heavy rain fell from 4.30 pm to 6 pm, accompanied by strong winds, thunder, and lightning. There were reports of heavy waterlogging in 25 different locations throughout the city. Over the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an 'orange' alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Pune and surrounding areas. According to the IMD, the heavy rain was caused by the prevailing depression over Odisha. Its movement would continue until September 15, with light to moderate rains.
