11:58Now PlayingAs per the latest news, A march to the state secretariat, Nabanna, was organised by the saffron party to protest suspected corruption within the Trinamool Congress government. The BJP is believed to be using the protest to demonstrate the opposition's strength.
Section 144 is also imposed in Kolkata and 4000 police have been deployed to stop the protest. Three different rallies have been taken out by the BJP which are moving towards the state secretariat. Multiple layers of barricading are done by Kolkata police to block the roads. WestBengal: Police use water cannons and tear gas shells to stop and disperse BJP workers amid their call for Nabanna Chalo march.
