as posted by the channelBengaluru News: Crackdown encroachment in Bengaluru as Operation to clear encroachments in Karnataka's Bengaluru is actively going on under the city civic body after heavy rainfall brought the city to a standstill. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has published a list of encroachers in the Mahadevapura zone that includes major firms like Wipro and Prestige among others, as the civic body of Bengaluru began tightening the noose on encroachers of stormwater drains in the city. According to the BBMP, these structures have obstructed the flow of water into stormwater drains (SWD). Following the notification, the structures in question are Wipro, Prestige, Eco Space, Gopalan in Bellandur, Bagmane Tech Park, Rainbow Drive Layout, Hoodi and Sonnehalli, Diya School, Adarsha, Columbia Asia Hospital, New Horizon College, Adarsha retreat, Epysion and DiyaShree, Salarpuria and Adarsha and Nalapad.
