Speaking to Mirror Now, Aaditya also said that the deal was meant to happen with the Maharashtra government but due to the pressure exerted by the Central government, the deal was shifted to Gujarat. Vedanta and Foxconn were reportedly in the final stages of talks with the Maharashtra government for setting up its new semiconductor plant.
