The incident took place allegedly due to the power outage in the hospital, where two patients, admitted to the ICU lost their lives. Taking cognizance of the issue, the Basavaraj Bommai government has now jumped into action and the health and family welfare department has constituted a five-member team to probe the incident. On the other hand, the family of the victims have held the administration accountable for the incident and have said that the ignorance of the officials has led to the death of their family members.
