as posted by the channelOn Tuesday, Kolkata and several parts of Bengal resembled battlefields as BJP leaders and workers clashed with police during their 'Nabanna Abhijan,' or protest march to the state secretariat, to protest the ruling Trinamool Congress' corrupt practises in the state. Several BJP leaders were injured, as were numerous police officers, during the clashes.
During the march to the secretariat, police detained Bengal Assembly Leader Suvendu Adhikari, MP Locket Chatterjee, senior leader Rahul Sinha, and others. Agnimitra Paul, a fashion designer, and senior BJP leader, was also detained at the Howrah Maidan protest site. Watch the video to know more in detail!
