This is what is happening with Indians who are planning to visit the United States. Indian visa applicants now have a wait time of over two years for getting an appointment. The official website of the US government shows that there's an appointment wait time of 833 days for applications from Delhi and 848 from Mumbai for visitor visas. However, the wait time is only two days for China's Beijing, 100 for Sri Lanka's Colombo, and 264 from Pakistan's Karachi. Shockingly, for student visas, the wait time is 430 days for both Delhi and Mumbai. Surprisingly, it's only one day for Pakistan's Islamabad, two from Beijing, and four for Colombo.
