They stated that "Shiv Sena Balasaheb Thackeray" and "Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray" are their top two choices for the name. Following a disagreement between the warring factions, led by Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde, the Election Commission has suspended the Shiv Sena name and its "bow and arrow" emblem and asked both of them to provide a list of three names and symbols, out of which ECI will assign one to each.
