According to the police, an agent from Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district smuggled women from Kaladi and Kadavantra localities for a couple in Thiruvalla in Pathanamthitta district. In a suspected case of ‘human sacrifice’ as part of an occult, two women were reportedly murdered and their bodies were hacked into pieces and buried.
