The vehicles were seen submerged in rainwater and even the railway station was experiencing flash floods. Overnight rain had worsened the traffic situation in the city, potholes and bad condition of roads created chaos for Punekars in travelling around. Meanwhile, angry Punekars took to Twitter to express their concerns. They blamed the inadequate infrastructure of the city. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for October 18. Pune Municipal authorities also deployed rescue teams around the city to help citizens. Watch this video to know more
