Residents in Bengaluru have been complaining to the civic authorities regarding the pothole menace in the city. Despite repeated pleas, it is alleged that the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) authorities continue to remain indifferent towards the issue. Angered by this apathy, many residents in the city have now taken to the street to stage a protest against the authorities, demanding an immediate solution to the potholed roads. Several residents of Prestige Kensington Gardens and other residential complexes, including children and elderly people, formed a human chain on Sunday at the apartment premises near the HMT facility at Jalahalli.
