Jaishankar on Friday as he paid tribute to the victims of the carnage alongside members of the UN Security Council. At a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, which was one of the attackers' primary targets, Jaishankar was joined by the UK's foreign secretary James Cleverly, Gabon's foreign minister Michael Moussa Adamo among others. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in the UN meeting the main conspirators and planners of the 26/11 terror attacks are still safe and have not been punished. "When it comes to sanctioning certain terrorists, in some cases the UN Security Council has been, for political reasons, regrettably unable to act," he said. Tune in for more such updates.
