4:37Now PlayingIn the latest developments concerning the Coimbatore Blast Case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe and is likely to begin the investigation soon. This comes after Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin recommended an NIA probe over assumptions of the attack being linked to terrorist organizations. Earlier, NIA had also visited the house of the victim who was killed in the blast. Earlier, 25-year-old engineering graduate Jameesha Mubin was killed in the blast on the eve of Diwali. Mubin was allegedly linked to terror organizations and was also quizzed by the NIA in 2019. It is also alleged that the car blast was planned on the lines of the Sri Lanka Easter Bombings of 2019.
