State President of the Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bandi Sanjay was also stopped by police and shifted to Abdullapurmet Police Station, while he was on his way to Munugode to register his protest against ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party not leaving the constituency against the polling guidelines ahead of by-elections in the area. 'The police apparatus, despite repeated warnings that the ministers, non-local MLAs and leaders of the ruling TRS party are in front of the wall and are terrorizing and tempting the people by violating the election rules...,' he tweeted.
