ED arrested Sanjay Raut in connection to the Patra Chawl redevelopment scam, where he has been accused of money laundering. His supporter seemed to celebrate outside the special PMLA Court. Sanjay Raut has been one of the loyalists to Udhav Thackrey. Session Court today rejected the stay plea of ED within minutes. ED approached Lower court for the stay to seek some time to file a plea in Mumbai high court. He was allegedly was arrested at BJP's directions. Sanjay Raut's supporters called it the victory of our judiciary and chanted "Satyamev Jayate.
