Gujarat High Court took suo moto cognizance of the Morbi bridge collapse incident on Monday and requested a report from the state government. A similar civic apathy incident occurred today in Bengaluru, where a 55-year-old man died after falling from his bike due to poor roads. Yesterday, a veteran soldier was also murdered in Karnataka due to potholes. Instead of fixing the roads, BBMP is blaming rash and negligent driving of the victims.
