The first "greenfield" airport in Arunachal will be inaugurated on Saturday as part of the Prime Minister's jam-packed programme. An airport that was constructed from scratch is known as a greenfield airport. To kick off the month-long "Kashi Tamil Sangamam," PM Modi will also travel to Varanasi, his home constituency. After that, he will be in Gujarat, where elections are scheduled to take place in less than two weeks. PM Modi will also donate a 600 MW Kameng Hydro Power Station in Arunachal to the country in order to make AP a power-surplus state. After that, the Prime Minister will travel to Varanasi where he will launch the "Kashi Tamil Sangamam" initiative, which is meant to embody the principles of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat." The Prime Minister will be in Gujarat, his home state, in the evening. Polls there are scheduled to open on December 1 and close on December 5, and results will be announced on December 8.
