The Chief Justice of the Guwahati HC said that the administration can dig up the courtroom if such action is followed. The court also said that bulldozing a house is not under criminal law. Speaking on this, Adv. Sanjay K Chadha said, "Such things are not acceptable in criminal Jurisprudence, the police have no power to bulldozer somebody's house in the name of seizure or search."
