The "right of publicity," also known as "personality rights," establishes a person as a material, morally upright, and spiritually conscious entity and guarantees his or her happiness in this world. The right to one's character and reputation is upheld on a global scale as a component of common law or traditional natural law. In short, personality rights guard against the unauthorized use of names and identities of people without their consent or appropriate context.
