The Delhi court will issue its ruling on the petition on Saturday. The case was postponed until November 26 by Special Judge Vikas Dhull, who was supposed to issue the ruling on Friday. The plea has also asked for a directive to the jail officials to perform the minister's medical examination. It was claimed that Jain was denied access to basic nutrition and healthcare within the institution. The jail administration refuted the claim and informed the court that it was improper to anticipate preferential treatment for an inmate from the parties in question, noting that all inmates receive a balanced diet that is nutritious without regard to caste, creed, or religion.
