At a gathering in Thane, Maharashtra, Ramdev asserted that women can look nice in a saree, a salwar kameez, or "even when they wear nothing." Ramdev made the remarks on Friday at a gathering. Amruta Fadnavis, the spouse of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, joined him on the dais. Shrikant Shinde, son of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, was also present. Swati Maliwal, the head of the Delhi Women's Commission, shared the video and urged Ramdev to "apologise to the country." Now the question that arises is whether or not an apology is enough for this offensive comment on women’s attire. Ramdev apologises for his sexist remarks but is that enough? Why no case against Baba Ramdev?

"There was nothing outrageous in what Baba Ramdev said. He never says anything that is derogatory to women," says Adv Naveen Chomal, Lawyer.
"Baba Ramdev should have basic decency in where he is talking & what, he isn't a college kid anymore," says Acharya Vikramaditya, Spiritual Guru.
"Baba Ramdev is just a businessman, he has a lusty mind," says Dr. Ranjana Kumari, Activist.
