Amid polygraph sessions, a much-awaited narco test and a series of questioning, police will now probe the drug consumption allegations against the accused, Aftab Poonawala.
Aftab, currently lodged in the Tihar jail under CCTV surveillance, allegedly used to consume drugs.
The Gujarat Police have arrested a drug peddler, Faizal Momin, from Surat. Faisal is suspected to be the drug supplier of Aftab also.
He stayed in the same locality as Aftab in Vasai West in Mumbai, where Aftab lived on rent before shifting to Delhi with Shraddha.
Faisal and Aftab have many common friends, and Gujarat Police will now go through Faizal's call records to find out how Aftab was in touch with him. Notably, many friends of Aftab and Shraddha have said that Aftab used to consume drugs.
