This is the sixth arrest by the central agency in connection with the case. Amit Arora is accused of collecting undue pecuniary advantage. Buddy Retail Pvt Ltd operated two liquor zones in Delhi — Airport Zone and Zone 30. Amit Arora's premises were searched by the Enforcement Directorate last week. Arora's companies are based out of Delhi and Haryana. He is also among the directors of Mexican restaurant Dos Burros located in Cyber City Gurugram. He was associated with the directorship of 37 companies in the past. It is alleged that these companies could have played a role in the tweaking of excise policy.
