The group attacked the restaurant personnel after they refused to provide meals at the restaurant's closing time, according to the police report. On the evening of Sunday, November 20, BJP leader KC Ramachandra's son Dhanush and some friends went to the "Village" restaurant in Electronics City. The staff members refused to follow orders, so the son of a previous Zilla Panchayat president and his associates started a commotion and beat them up. However, despite an FIR being filed as a result of a complaint by the hostel employees, no arrests have been made thus far.
