We are joined by Ashwini Kumar Dubey, expert in constitutional matters. He said that article 44 talks about state powers to make a uniform civil code for the citizens of the state. Due to vote bank politics UCC could not be implemented. UCC should be framed in a transparent manner after consultation with all types of communities.
