The India-China clashes in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang sector occurred on December 9. The defence minister said that Chinese soldiers attempted to “unilaterally change the status quo” by transgressing the Line of Actual Control and the Indian troops retaliated to thwart the Chinese aggression.
