The Opposition parties in Parliament staged a walkout today accusing the government of not allowing a discussion on the recent India-China clash in Arunachal Pradesh. They have said that the government has refused to engage beyond a brief statement by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The India-China clashes in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang sector occurred on December 9. The defence minister said that Chinese soldiers attempted to “unilaterally change the status quo” by transgressing the Line of Actual Control and the Indian troops retaliated to thwart the Chinese aggression.
