Three suspects, including one who had been stalking the victim, had been detained by the police. According to police familiar with the situation, online retailer Flipkart has informed the Delhi Police that an Agra-based company sold the acid that is thought to have been used by two individuals to attack a Class 12 student on December 14 in the Mohan Garden neighbourhood of southwest Delhi. Now the Delhi acid attack issue was raised by NCP MP Dr. Fauzia Khan in the Parliament. Dr. Fauzia Khan said that, "The accused have been arrested and they have allegedly procured the substance through Flipkart, an e-commerce website paying for it through his e-wallet sir. The nature of the crime remains the same but the modes are changing."
