The High Court has also ordered the state government to submit the Special Investigation Team's progress report and a report on compliance with previous High Court orders by January 19. The court chastised Morbi Municipality, stating that it is not fair to demand time to defend 'carelessness'. It also stated that if the municipality is found to have been negligent, legal action will be taken against them.
