Jallikattu, the occasion of Pongal to begin in some time. Nearly 1000 bulls will be participating in Jallikattu this year. Nearly 3118 bull tamers will be participating. As per the guidelines, the bulls participating in the events will also have to be registered on madurai.nic.in. A bull can participate in only one competition among the three events. Two persons can accompany the bull, the owner and helper. They should also provide a double dose Covid vaccination certificate and a negative Covid certificate, according to the guidelines.
