The administration was allegedly aiming to monopolise independent constitutional institutions, according to the opposition, particularly the Congress. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, described it as a risky decision. The risk involved is great. He stated on Twitter that there should be zero tolerance for government meddling in judiciary selections.
