It has also asked the WFI to stop all ongoing activities with immediate effect including the Ranking Tournament in Gonda, UP. Meanwhile, the WFI president has also been sidelined by the ministry and action against him is also expected soon. Speaking on this, Coach & General Secretary Haryana Wrestling Association Rakesh Singh said, "Wrestlers are here to wrestle. Politicians stage protests at #JantarMantar. There's political pressure on the wrestlers."
