The accused, Arif, was arrested on Saturday morning while working at a computer company in Bengaluru. According to ISD, Arif, an individual from Uttar Pradesh, may have been in communication with ISIS and making preparations to join the terrorist organisation. The accused has already spoken with Al Qaeda. The NIA has removed his laptop and other electronic devices for analysis, and searchers are presently visiting his residence in the Thanisandra neighbourhood of the city in search of further evidence.
