In response to the demonstrations at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University, the ABVP slammed the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, saying, "You're on the wrong ground." As CM MK Stalin condemned the attack on Tamilian students in JNU, the BJP's youth wing, ABVP, criticised the leader of the DMK. According to ABVP, there was only a peaceful programme celebrating Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. "The cowardly attack on Tamil students by the ABVP & vandalising the pictures of leaders like Periyar, Karl Marx at JNU is very condemnable and demands strong action from the Univ Admin," Stalin said on Twitter.
