8:21Now PlayingThe voting is underway in poll-bound North-Eastern states of Meghalaya and Nagaland. The polling kickstart at 7 in the morning and voters in both states can cast their votes till 4 in the evening. This is a single-phase election and the results of both the states will be declared on March 2. Thus, the voting is on 118 constituencies and 552 candidates are enrolled in the contest. Around 13 political parties, including four national parties- Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, National People's Party (NPP), and Trinamool Congress (TMC) contesting the election.
