An Indian Army signal officer posted in eastern Ladakh, she provides strategic communication to troops deployed near LAC. "Army accommodative of women officers; never felt gender bias", says Major Beena Tiwari. She was part of Operation Dost, the Indian Army rescue team that was rushed to #Turkey after the earthquake.
