2:16Now PlayingBreaking News: Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi appeared before Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on March 14 along with their daughter Misa Bharti in the land-for-job scam case. The court had issued summons on February 27 taking cognizance of the chargesheet filed by CBI against them. According to the charge sheet, Lalu Yadav was allegedly involved in providing jobs in lieu of land when he was the railway minister. During his presidency from 2004 to 2009, candidates were requested to give or sell land parcels to Lalu Prasad's family in exchange for their appointment to the railways. Lalu Prasad and other defendants were charged in the CBI charge sheet for their alleged involvement in the erroneous appointments made in the railways. These selections were against the Indian Railways' established standards and hiring practices.
