Hong Kong cinemas have cancelled the screening of a Winnie the Pooh film. While the reason for cancellation is not clear, speculations are that the film was pulled because of memes and comparisons on the internet between Xi Jinping and the children's character. Beijing's censors have targeted the movie earlier as well. The memes began in 2013 when the Chinese president visited the US to meet then-president Barack Obama.
