The plea by the Tamilnadu Government challenges the orders of the Madras High Court which set a system of conditions imposed on the root mark shot by the RSS in the state. Earlier the Madras High Court allowed the RSS to carry out root marches. The State Government have refused permission citing the threat attack by the PFI on the RSS which may lead to a law and order situation in the state. The State had approached the Top court challenging a high court's order which is dismissed today by the Supreme Court.
