Earlier, the Income Tax agency conducted searches on Monday at 50 premises of a well-known Tamil Nadu-based real estate firm. According to PTI, searches were being conducted in various sites throughout Tamil Nadu, including Madras. Income tax investigators are also conducting raids and searches at Stalin's son-in-law Sabareesan's auditor's apartment. The real estate firm is purportedly linked to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and his family members. The private firm is thought to be particularly close to the DMK. Karthik, the firm's shareholder, is the son of Anna Nagar DMK MLA MK Mohan, whose home was seized by the IRS. Watch the news to know more.
