The wrestlers had called off their first protest against Bhushan after he was asked to step down as the WFI president. Wrestlers have alleged that they haven't received any support from the Sports Ministry. Olympic medallist, Sakshi Malik, and 2022 Commonwealth Games Gold medallist, Vinesh Phogat, broke down while talking to the press on Sunday (April 23). "Seven girls including a minor gave a complaint at CP PS against Brijbhushan Singh regarding sexual harassment but yet to be filed. There must be POCSO case.
