3:41Now PlayingWeeks after the uproar over the NCERT revising its syllabus for class 11th and 12th. The Kerala government decided to include deleted portions in the schools. Now Kerala education minister has informed that the curriculum committee has directed that the portions omitted by the NCERT will be talked to students. Further the state will also file a complaint to the Prime Minister and union education minister over the removal of NCERT chapters. Now the NCERT had removed certain portions from class 11th and 12th syllabus including bits on Mahatma Gandhi's assassination, ban on RSS and Mughal history. Despite the fact that NCERT has streamlined the curriculum for classes VI through XII, according to sources, Kerala only uses NCERT textbooks for classes XI and XII, therefore the revisions for other classes won't have an impact on state students. Keep an eye on Times Now for the recent developments.
