Mobile internet services have been suspended across Manipur for 5 days. The Army has also conducted flag marches in violence-hit areas of Manipur. The All Tribal Student Union Manipur held a protest in Torbung area of Churachandpur district to protest the demand of non-tribal Meiteis, who dominate the Imphal Valley, for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status.
