His remarks were made only a few hours after Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities were bombarded with Russian missiles. Putin has attempted to frame the conflict in Ukraine as a conflict with Western forces, who he alleges are out to destroy Russia. He has also falsely said that Nazis are in charge of the Ukrainian government. We are joined by a few panelists expressing their views on this issue. “One thing we have to probably remember before I say anything is that in the 20th and 21st century none of the super-powers have won a single war. They have been defeated in most of the wars,” stated Anil Trigunayat, Former Ambassador.
