The top court said the Governor had no objective material to doubt the confidence of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government and to call for a floor test. Uddhav’s biggest mistake retrospectively was resigning as the chief minister instead of facing the floor test. However, the apex court in a singing criticism pulled up the then-governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for “entering the political arena and enormously ordering a floor test over an inter-party tussle.
